Shri Krsna Janmashtami is the day when the Supreme Lord Shri Krsna appeared in this world more than 5,000 years ago. The following day we celebrate the arrival of the founder-acarya of the Hare Krsna movement, Srila Prabhupada, who was born in 1986 just after Krsna's birthday.
